London

Completed BA Fine Art & MA Research with focus on etching and traditional studio methods. At present preparing to take on further study at PhD level & to establish own print studio from home.

Etching, in its pure form is the closest technique to drawing; its extends of what line drawn can become. The refinement of line composition and delightful subtleties that can be achieved with this method brings out resembling translation of my drawings to a different yet so close, form of life.
Drawing is the backbone, the foundation to all my artwork; not only as a guide but also as a vital part of my research and preparation.
Drawing acts as a direct vessel to my ideas onto the paper; gives shape to the thought-etching immortalises it into the copper plate.
The most recent series 'Darker Than That' is based on nightmares that I have collected and recorded from my own dreaming experiences. In 'Vessels' I have used dreams collected & recorded from other people (interviewed 100 people as a part of my MA research).
The site is in working progress; to be updated soon.
