Many years experience coding directly in HTML/XHTML, CSS, although I also have extensive knowledge with Dreamweaver and other related products. This also includes the use of CSS which enables pages to not only conform more easily to accessibility issues but also lends itself to cleaner code and more usable pages offering greater flexibility. All my work is built with CSS and is tableless designed.

Experience in leading the creative and production aspects of all gui and interface design, through to the overall look-and-feel of all internet-based software produced. This includes the crea¬tion of original graphics, to implementing design parameters, style guides and visual standards required for each project creating cutting edge, sleek designs with the help of Adobe and Mac¬romedia software, HTML, XML, CSS, Java Scripting and other web based techniques. From simple text based, informative web sites, to database driven, e-commerce packages offering user interactivity and secure online transactions, I aim to create a fast loading, professional web site that meets those objectives and is easy to read and navigate. Can also con¬struct interactive Flash games and sites based entirely in Flash using advanced Flash program¬ming and design.

Responsible for all production and creative aspects of customer’s graphical requirements for web based software, using technology, intelligence and creativity, tempered with a clear understand¬ing of the budget and technical limitations of the final product. As well as originating graphics and designs to be incorporated in services such as computer-based trainers, simulators for flight operating procedures, flying/instruction manuals and cockpit trainers for amongst others Brit¬ish Aerospace. Other areas include Corporate identity, invitations, menus, brochures, advertise¬ments, page layout, and packaging design.

Able to visualize copy to actual and/or scale dimensions in order to present a balanced and visually appealing piece of work in both computer generated and freehand. Fully involved in the interpretation of a client’s brief with creative flair and subjective judgment, tempered with com¬mercial common sense originating into finished storyboards, proofs or HTML prototypes

I have proven communication, team management, and project management skills gained from working with many major companies in both Scandinavia and the UK such as Sunderland NHS, The AA, Statoil, NSB, ErgoGroup, Posten, Nestle UK and Teekay Shipping Ltd down to the new emerging company still in their start up period. In trying to establish a more efficient creativity within the production process to various companies I have spent time educating in-house programmers on web design, gui interface principles and basic graphic design through internal informative sessions and interactive tutorials.
