Brian Sanchez

Initially hired as the assistant to the VP of Product Development, my position included: research and development of video game products and accessories; designing initial product and package concepts; developing production art for the manufacturer; designing and printing of catalogs, sale sheets and other marketing materials; product photography; design and maintenance of all Naki World-related websites; writing and editing of all marketing materials, including monthly newsletter; aided the warehouse in unloading packages from delivery containers.

As Project Manager, I was responsible for assigning new and open accounts to myself and colleagues as well as closing accounts for billing. As Sales Manager, I was responsible for representing the company and its services in meetings with potential and current clients. Represented the company in becoming a 3rd party vendor for AT&T Directory’s Specialty Sales Services, designing print ads for their yellow page directories serving Southern California. Also served as graphic designer for print advertisements and corporate identity pacakages, illustrator, product developer, and web designer. Designed company website.

Was assigned by this staffing agency to work as a Router for Sears Logistics Services. Solely responsible for the assigning of delivery routes for most of the Sears Home Delivery trucks serving Central and Southern California. Responsible for taking hundreds of delivery requests for address correction, proper assignment of merchandise to its proper delivery route, and the determination of whether a delivery requires special requirements such as transferring merchandise onto a small truck due to narrow roads. Worked directly with Penske Logistics Services in Chatsworth, Commerce and Santa Ana, California in determining the number of trucks precisely needed for the next day’s delivery each and every day.

Worked every evening after school as the head artist for a small independent comic book publishing company. Was the head artist for “Damien Spectre,” developing character designs and well as page layouts. Was also given the opportunity to develop and write my own story, entitled “Puff.” Company closed down when fellow artist and my college classmate Emi Morales was killed in a rock slide accident at Yosemite National Park on July 11, 1996.
