Teak is a branding and content studio. We describe what we do as a combination of the visual design of a branding firm, storytelling of a production company, and innovation of a digital agency.
Our long-term goal is pretty straightforward- we're here to make things that inspire us, work with people that inspire us, brands that inspire us and remain dedicated to seeking out the inspiration that keeps us fresh, motivated and excited to get up every day and come to work.
If you live, eat and breathe digital and social media, we'd love to talk. From conversion-based acquisition campaigns to generating awareness across the digital ecosystems, we're looking for someone who can jump in and own end-to-end digital campaigns. You should be able to make contacts at publishing networks, speak to Facebook ad tools and capabilities, and execute multiples media campaigns, among other tasks. You'll be the go-to resource for digital media, adding that layer of media strategy to creative content, and make a difference within our growing agency. We love creative thinking and problem solving, and this is an opportunity to collaborate with a brilliant group of designers, content creators, and creative technologists on numerous high-profile projects.
Strategy - Collaborating with internal strategy team, identity key objectives/KPIs, audience targeting, and tactics to drive results across a digital ecosystem that includes social media and programmatic platforms, publisher and ad networks (GDN/Trueview).
We see you as an essential member of the creative team, with the goal to inspire and collaborate on what engaging content can accomplish.
Plan/Research - Assist in user-flow brainstorming, and reaching out to industry/platform/advertising contacts to evaluate opportunities, get quotes/IOs, and inform our strategic recommendations.
Optimize - You'll monitor performance on a daily basis of all campaign efforts, identifying key opportunities, adjusting ad spends and targeting, and making suggestions to internal creative team for content updates and media budget spend pivoting.
Reporting - You read the media matrix with an eagle eye for objectives, and can articulate CTR, CPA, CPE to the lay person. Create, manage, and improve all media campaign reporting procedures. You'll bring your knowledge of 3rd party reporting tools and Google Analytics to effectively generate insights that inform future media budgeting.
Partner with client contacts to implement all metric-related pixels/tags/UTMs, setting up google analytic reporting procedures, and walking clients through how to give you Facebook/social admin privileges.
Bring a consultative approach to executing digital campaigns, always educating internal teams and clients about best practices and metrics.
Collaborate with internal team to create landing pages and optimize user experiences.
Be the voice for an ever-evolving media landscape, identifying trends, sharing insights, and utilizing best practices.
Manage Teak's internal digital marketing efforts, including Google Analytics.
1-3 years experience in an agency/company role working on digital media campaigns, including organic/paid efforts across social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, and programmatic/native publishers like Pulsepoint, Sharethrough, etc.
Experience with search, video, display, programmatic, and mobile campaign management.
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (primarily Google Analytics. NetInsight, Omniture, or WebTrends is a nice to have)
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
Great if you are already Google Adwords Certified, but if not, you will be required to become so immediately upon start of position.
Experience working with and presenting ideas to clients.
Experience with A/B testing methodologies across numerous ad platforms
You're nice and like to be around other people.
Bonus points for:
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels

Our working environment:
- We don't want to change your working style- everyone has their own way. All we care about is that your work is finished on time and up to our high standards.
- Every day here is different. We work with lot of great clients in all different kinds of media. One thing that is consistent- we focus on doing vs. talking about doing.
- We've got a stocked fridge, constantly brewing Peet's coffee and nice bathrooms.
We're not owned by a giant holding company, so unless you live in San Francisco you'll have to move yourself out here for this job. You should probably move here anyway.
