Position: Web Analyst (Multichannel + Online Merchandising)

Rate: Mid-level: up to $82K DOE

Senior: up to $99K (+ 16% bonus) DOE

Job Description:

Our client in the technology product space is looking to hire two to three Marketing Analysts to join their team full time!

You will support Merchandising, Search & Navigation, CMS, and the internal website.

You will be responsible for

- analyze a variety of data from multiple sources

- use data to tell stories about user behavior

- work with groups to learn their new features

- determine the best way to test & track the new features

- write tagging specifications, work w/developers

- validate tags work live on the site

- deliver well-developed insights (not just raw data) via written and verbal presentations

- provide web analytics education & guidance

- help foster a culture of data-driven decision making

Technical skills needed:

- pulling/reporting data from an ecommerce analytics tool (like Google Analytics, BrightEdge, Adobe, or Omniture)

- development of A/B or multivariate tests, card sorting, or navigation tests

- SEM, SEO, PPC campaign management

- working in Agile Scrum metrology, as a Scrum Master

- Excel & PowerPoint

Ideal candidate:

- an eye for interesting data & curiosity

- has an eye for interesting data, & trends within analytics

- ability to apply findings, drive testing & iterative development

- passionate about demographic data, attribution modeling, and generating leads

- working knowledge of backend website & data capture architecture is also a plus

Ideal background:

- experience w/ a large ecommerce website

- worked with/on user experience & information architecture, especially as it relates to discerning user behavior & defining use cases
