I have been blessed to work in a field that I love, and I don't think there is anything I'd rather do than take pictures for a living. Since 2002 I have worked for multiple newspapers as a photojournalist and now work full time as the campus photographer for CSU Stanislaus. I do quite a bit of freelance work on the side, primarily for a company called US Presswire which covers major sporting events worldwide. I have received recognition for my photographs from the California Newspapers Publishers Association and the Nevada Press Association, and I was recently recognized as the 2009 National University Photographer of the Year by CASE, (the Council for Advancement and Support of Education).
