Interactive Designer – MTV Digital

MTV.com is looking for a self-motivated, highly creative, interactive designer with at least 1 year Web experience and formal design training to join our interactive design team, in-house on a freelance basis. Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator are required, Flash/After Effects experience preferred. Strong creative execution skills are essential as well as the ability to think conceptually and develop ideas through to completion. The flexibility to quickly switch between tasks and produce at the highest level is key. Candidate must come fully equipped with a passionate and enthusiastic attitude, adding flare to our existing dynamic team.

Qualified people will: Have experience designing for ads, sites, branding, broadcast & games. Design balanced layouts with a focus on consistency. Produce high quality design with an eye for detail, consistency, typography and color. Flexibility to design with limited assets when necessary (ex. Recreate logos, enhance images/artwork, etc). Take initiative to fully utilize down time by advancing design skills, refining current projects or assisting other team projects. Ability to manage workload on multiple projects Follows standards and structures established by senior team members. Takes personal responsibility and ownership for each project they're assigned to.
