Interactive Art Director

We are seeking a freelance Interactive Art Director with solid user-centered website experience. This is a freelance opportunity that has the possibility to develop into a full-time position. May require travel between our offices.

• Status - Freelance
• Salary - Contract based, commensurate with experience
• Reports to - Creative Director
• Location - New York City (Williamsburg, Brooklyn) and Paris, France

Primary responsibilities:

Candidate will work along side the Creative Director to develop great user experiences for content and community-based websites. Candidate is responsible for both information and visual design.

Required skills:

• 2+ years of interactive design experience
• 2+ years of visual identity design experience
• A keen eye for pixel accuracy and a desire to implement highly crafted performance websites
• Solid understanding of web standards and best practices
• Ability to design in Illustrator is a must (or be a real fast learner)

• Print Design and Production
