Senior Data Analyst

We're currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst to play a key role as part of an energized, multi-disciplinary group.
IconNicholson is looking for experienced people to deliver tracking analysis and contribute to a high level of innovation in data analytics. This is a great opportunity to leverage quantitative skills and experience to join an exciting group of talented marketing strategists and digital-media analysts. As part of the team there is an opportunity to utilize knowledge and skills creatively to support client campaigns and programs and recommend solutions that are supported by your stellar analysis. Candidates should possess rock-star tracking and reporting requirements skills and have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of digital advertising and website tagging. You will manage the collection and synthesizing of data for our clients. Data sources typically include: ad trafficking and email campaign programs, web analytic tools and client databases.
Responsibilities
Senior Analysts are exposed to a range of clients, projects and responsibilities. You will be working with a team of highly talented individuals in Strategy, Creative and Technology to help drive results for our clients. Your activities will include:
Providing integrated marketing analytical solutions across customers and channels to improve client decision-making• Conceptualizing and communicating strategic solutions
Collaborating with clients to develop clear business and measurement objectives
Applying various quantitative methods to analyze and interpret information from multiple data sources
Designing easy to digest excel dashboards
Preparing analysis and tracking of marketplace, technology and consumer demographic trends both within and across multiple industries
Performing daily metrics monitoring and reporting for clients’ e-commerce and ad supported sites
Writing clear concise presentations for clients summarizing data insights, outcomes and implications in a straight-forward and enlightening way
Qualifications
We are looking for an individual who brings qualities such as intellectual curiosity, determination and creativity to our client work
We seek highly motivated individuals with a strong record of professional achievement
2+ years of business experience working in Management Consulting, Marketing, Advertising, Interactive/Technology Consulting, or Financial Services
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or equivalent experience, MBA a plus
Strong analytical skills and experience with web analytics packages such as Web Trends, Omniture, Coremetrics, Visual Sciences, Hitbox are key.
Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, segmentation, research, lifetime value, ROI
Experience in online program measurement, test design and financial modeling
Experience writing and presenting proposals or reviewing strategy projects to clients and internal senior management
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Fluency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel: Experience with SAS, SPSS or other data manipulation tools a plus
