Kristie Jorfald was born and raised in Lake Forest, IL by her Colombian mother and Norwegian father. Her fluency in three languages and extensive travels have allowed her to become familiar with fashion through many cultures around the world. Kristie's passion for fashion started at an early age when she not only discovered how much fun it was to play dress up, but also became her friends' personal shopper at the age of twelve. After graduating high school, Kristie wanted the full experience of a four-year university and graduated in the summer of 2009 with a BA in English at the University of Colorado at Boulder. As summer slowly turned to fall Kristie realized it was time to follow her dreams and pursue her career in wardrobe styling in Los Angeles. Having studied fashion through hands on experiences at internships with Showroom Seven, Paper Magazine, and Hearst Corporations magazine's: TEEN and CosmoGIRL!, Kristie has developed into a very detail-oriented person with every project she has taken on. Her drive and persistence have allowed her to style models and celebrities for numerous editorial shoots. Kristie loves to help others with fashion advice, aid individuals in choosing unique apparel to make them stand out from the crowd, and give them the confidence to feel glamorous.
