I worked full time for the Lane Agency. Based in Edinburgh the company offers design and media buying solutions.

I was approached by the directors and offered the position of Senior designer. I work on a variety of accounts producing websites, brochures, email newsletters, press adverts, stationery and signage as required. I also provided advice and support for other designers and account handlers within the department.

To support my freelancing I worked full time at Entec UK (a well respected environmental and engineering consultancy). Here I worked visual material and technical drawings to support planning applications for engineering projects.

I worked freelance providing print and web design services to a number
of clients including Beautysleuth (An internet health and beauty product) retailer, JAC Scotland (One of Scotland’s largest travel wholesalers dealing with both domestic and overseas markets) and the John Martin Group. For JAC
Travel Scotland I produced various material for European and Russian trade shows and designed the ‘Just Go Scotland’ 230 page brochure. I also worked with smaller clients, designing and handling print services for them.

In 2004 I was promoted to Senior Graphic Designer. I was responsible for ensuring the groups advertising adhered to corporate guidelines, achieving a presentation style that communicated effectively to its target audience. I was also responsible for the training and development of Junior Designers, technical support and prioritizing workloads to ensure design and print deadlines where met. I also involved myself in several web / new media projects and some local TV advertising for the company.
