I've been designing websites in one form or another since 1995. My first professional gig was in 1999, complete with "marquee" tag and animated email gif! Since then, I've worked as a Morning Show Producer at a radio station, an Audio/ Video Editor at a commercial production studio, and an Online Training Developer at Clear Channel Communications.

Most of my expertise is in Flash, ActionScript (2&3), and PHP/mySQL development. However, my desire to learn all I can about the web and technology means I've also become quite proficient with things like CSS, ASP, SEO, Social Media, online video, and XML among many others. I'm constantly researching and teaching myself new things.

As far as my design philosophy, I love sites that are easy to navigate. I've read "Don't Make Me Think" about a hundred times and strive to create great user experiences. I'm also a geek about table-less HTML/CSS designs and W3 validation.

    Clear Channel Radio

    Created training for FCC-mandated Responsible Broadcasting Initiative, taken by all on-air employees nationwide. Over the years, I also developed more than 60 training modules using Flash, taken by Sales Executives and Programming staff throughout the company. I updated the training tracking system from classic ASP to ASP.NET. For the annual managers meetings, I worked on all the online aspects, including the registration system, presentations, and meeting wrap-up
    sites. During the 2009 initiative to hire Revenue Managers, I created an applicant tracking system and pre-interview survey.

    Produced and engineered radio talk shows, including the Home Handyman Show on KTRH-AM, and The Antiqueman on KBME-AM. Engineered sporting events for the Houston Aeros and University of Houston.

  • College Guidance Consultants

    Scholarship listing service for schools and school districts, with hundreds of subscriber school nationwide. Uses PHP and mySQL to pull a list of scholarships specifically for the state where the school is located.


  • Your Scholarships

    Scholarship listing site. Created 100% by me, from concept to completion, using PHP, mySQL, AJAX, jQuery, and PayPal IPN. The goal was simple user interaction, along with valid HTML code.


  • Alternative Health Services

    Alternative medicine practitioner in Kemah, TX. The site was originally designed by me, but is currently maintained by someone else. It's programmed using ASP and an Access database, and the homepage header is Flash.


  • Sarai's One of a Kind Custom Jewelry

    Jewelry store. Using Wordpress with the Ecommerce plugin, and a customized Theme.


  • Bay Area Network Group

    Group of local businesses. The directory is a custom PHP/mySQL app, using bits of jQuery.
