The Audience Development Coordinator supports the success and sustainability of the theater and its programs by coordinating and owning projects to increase patron loyalty, cultivate new audiences, increase community engagement, and write, publish, and create content that helps Musco Center's image.

The Audience Development Coordinator will work closely with the Audience Development Manager, Senior Director, and Executive Director to operate marketing and community strategy and campaigns. This role will disseminate, track, and analyze opportunities across the entire sales funnel and make recommendations to increase sales and reach.

The Audience Development Coordinator will also maintain goals and support the administrative functions of the Audience Development office and other duties as assigned.

Applicants should be able to perform a variety of support tasks to Musco Center departments including: Audience Campaign and Development: Support the Musco's Audience Development Manager and management team to develop and implement audience development and promotion campaigns to reach and entice new audiences, build excitement among current patrons, increase attendance and ticket sales, and maximize Musco Center's engagement with its community Support efforts to increase customer loyalty and retention, including marketing membership and subscription benefit programs Coordinate in-house or third-party street team operations, planning and reporting to distribute marketing materials at local events and businesses Coordinate with Center public relations partners and interface with working members of media and press Coordinate across university departments to promote Musco Center events and increase awareness for Musco Center's mission and performances Digital Marketing: Analyze and administer event promotion lifecycle across multi-channel sales funnel, including email, website, social media, print and direct mail Develop social media presence around current and upcoming Center events and promotions with a goal of building influence and followers on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other emerging platforms Create and post digital advertisements on platforms including Facebook Ad Manager or Google AdWords, analyze PPC results and make recommendations on future campaigns Basic website upkeep on WordPress-based property Editorial and Content Management: Support Audience Development Manager in manufacturing of program book publishing, including supporting tracking of advertisers, coordinating program book materials from artist management, and printing and distribution Support Audience Development Manager with writing/editing social media posts, marketing emails, and press releases Support and maintain 25Live and Chapman Event Calendar listings placing and updating copy, images, and info to insure accuracy and timeliness Production/Special Events: Attend Musco Center Presents and other productions at Musco Center and provide support to marketing, including interfacing with artists, photographers, writers, guests, donors, and VIPs, backstage and front-of-house Staff and support Musco Center informational tables on-campus and at local events, including at Musco Center Presents productions and festivals Provide project support or general administrative support to members of senior management as needs or demands arise Other duties as assigned or required

Some required qualifications include:Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years' experience in marketing or audience development within the arts, luxury, lifestyle, or entertainment sector, or in a fast-paced agency environment, with experience related to duties specified.

Experience working with diverse community groups, audiences, staff and co-workers.

Experience managing and administering business social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram.

Experience creating, implementing and monitoring successful outreach campaigns, patron loyalty, and cultivating new audiences through different forms of media.

Experience with collaboration, writing, and implementation of successful campaign collateral and brand messages.

Technical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); with the ability to learn and use enterprise systems and departmental tools.

General Marketing skills for various promotional activities.

Experience carrying out duties when faced with interruptions, distractions, and a fluctuating workload in a timely matter.

Oral communication skills to convey accurate information in a tactful and diplomatic manner.

Skills for arithmetic, calculation skills and the ability to process financial forms.

Written communication skills to prepare clear, concise, and grammatically correct business correspondence and marketing materials, including solid editing and proofreading skills.

Problem solving and analytical skills, including the ability to formulate and communicate logical conclusions and recommendations, appropriate for position level.

Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to foster effective relationships and work with a diverse group of individuals from within and outside the University community.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and use tact and diplomacy.

Ability to read and interpret university and department policies and procedures.

Ability to use standard office equipment.

Ability to maintain and respond to flexible work schedule with varying business needs.

Strong organizational and problem solving skills, with proven ability to make recommendations based upon the information/data gathered.

Familiarity with radio etiquette and safe practices when working in a theater.
