With group sales at c140m in 2016, the next 2-3 years are extremely exciting for us at Colart. We will be undertaking a transformation from a "paint maker" into a true lifestyle business and will be massively growing our busines across the globe. You're likely to know our brands, Winsor and Newton, Liquitex, Reeves, Snazaroo, Conte a Paris and Lefranc Bourgois but we're going much further than that!
About the role...
Reporting into our Customer Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing our merchandise solutions for key brands such as Liquitex and Winsor Newton across the US. You'll have ownership of the overall development costs, making commercial decisions and advising stakeholders across the business in order to maximise sales.
You'll work to an agreed retail brief to develop merchandising solutions alongside key stakeholders across the brand whilst delivering solutions to ensure the commerciality of our displays matches our outlay.
You'll be liaising with research agencies to test new merchandise solutions so that both customer and consumer insights are considered throughout and developing planograms to ensure our commercial teams have a guide for customer discussions.
You'll ideally have experience in a highly creative position within consumer goods with a proven track record of using software such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign Photoshop. POS and experience developing planograms is essential, as is the ability to work autonomously in a fast paced environment. Experience of managing a range of projects simultaneously will be a huge plus as is some marketing and new product development knowledge.
