Digital Experience Strategist

Primary Function

The Digital Experience Strategist is primarily responsible for creating and driving the global digital strategy on .com for our marketing and advertising campaigns, and other non-campaign driven efforts that require digital strategy/thinking/designing. This role is critical to the overall execution of our integrated, multi-channel campaign efforts. We partner closely with our counterparts who oversee creative, social media, paid media as well as external agency partners and business unit marketing strategists to deliver campaign experiences that delight our audiences and drive growth and preference for the company. The role spans ideation, execution and ongoing optimization. As a digital experience strategist, you will deliver the campaign channel strategy for .com, guide the creative process with our creative partners to ensure our specific requirements are being met, oversee production of the pages, build a measurement framework to analyze performance of the page and oversee ongoing optimizations. You will leverage your understanding of audience personas, digital moments in the customer journey and the integration with other channels such as Social Media & Global media to deliver against stated campaign and launch goals across digital experiences. This role will work closely with Business unit stakeholders, marketing strategy teams, creative teams and external agencies as well as Publishing, IT and Geo stakeholders. This role will manage several projects concurrently and will be required to effectively balance competing priorities and tight deadlines.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create & execute digital strategies to support "in the moment" campaigns & launches
  • Create and execute content strategies tightly aligned to customer insights & data
  • Recommend process improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness
  • Synthesize and analyze project data and information and provide clear recommendations for optimization or projects
  • Work closely with Digital Producers to manage the content lifecycle (content refresh, off-time, refresh & EOL)

  • Partner closely with other teams that manage and maintain content on .com
  • Other duties assigned

Skills & Qualifications

  • Understand how to craft and implement digital strategies that can scale globally
  • Expertise in applying persona/market segmentation, messaging, brand strategy and creative into a digital environment
  • Familiarity with web design, user experience strategies, information architecture, and navigation structures
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing strategies and web landing page best practices
  • Understanding of A/B testing
  • Ability to make web page optimizations based on website analytics data
  • Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing and sometimes ambiguous environment, make decisions quickly, manage simultaneous projects, and work with many stakeholders across internal groups and geographies
  • Must be a relentless collaborator, problem-solver and comfortable extending yourself to build new relationships and establish trust
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience working inside of a marketing, agency or advertising environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics and/or Adobe Experience Manager experience is a plus

Education & Experience

  • At least 5 years relevant digital experience. Ideal candidate is digitally literate and possess significant knowledge of the web and related technologies.
  • Excellent samples of work available to discuss
  • Bachelor's degree required
