Position: Graphic Designer

Location: City of Chicago

Status: Freelance

Starts: January 1st, 2018

Rate: Up to $24/hr DOE

Job Description:

Our tech industry client is looking for a Graphic Designer.

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for providing graphic support to the e-learning studio including:

- Creating vector illustrations

- Building new object and scene assets

- Compiling and maintaining asset library

- Creating banners, ads, branded merchandise and stickers

- Styling slides, formatting presentations

- Working within learning platforms to maintain brand

- Communicating with the creative team to meet deadlines

- Developing brand guidelines

Please respond highlighting the EXACT skills that apply:

- Degree or significant in-industry training

- 5 years experience in visual design

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Aftereffects, and InDesign)

- Significant vector illustration experience, comfortable adopting existing style, characters and branding

- Understanding of human character design principals

Nice to Have Skills/Not Required:

- Animation / Film editing experience

- Background in UX / UI design extremely desirable

- Prior work with e-learning platforms

- Extensive work with visual brand creation / development
