Overview:

Fatty Sundays is looking for a rockstar Graphic Designer to join our small, growing family in Brooklyn, NY. You will work on the conception and execution of various print, digital, social, marketing and event design projects. You will work alongside our co-founder/Creative Director to evolve and enhance the Fatty Sundays brand, creative assets, and marketing and sales efforts. This is a phenomenal opportunity to work in-house with a unique gourmet food and gift company, and build your portfolio with a wide array of creative work.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a wide range of work including: emails, ads and marketing campaigns, website graphics, event displays, event signage/collateral, social media content and more, while always maintaining the Fatty Sundays brand identity
  • Conceptualize with and take direction from our co-founder/Creative Director to push multiple projects forward
  • Work closely with our Social Media Coordinator and freelance Copy Writer on social media posts (graphics, gifs, videos) emails, and website graphics from start to finish
  • Communicate to leadership the status of various ongoing projects

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant graphic design experience
  • Extremely positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong interest in working with a small team in the gourmet/e-comm world
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team
  • A current portfolio that showcases excellent work
  • Fluency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Basic HTML, Flash, and CSS skills a plus
  • Strong conceptual ability, along with expert design and layout skills
  • Solid understanding of typography, design principles and best practices
  • Ability to photoshop and re-touch imagery, as needed
  • Experience with managing and organizing asset and large image libraries
  • Strong attention to detail, consistency, and organization
  • Experience with event design and corresponding graphics
  • Comfortable with both print and sign production
  • Comfortable communicating and following up with vendors, printers, outside marketing agencies, and development team when necessary
  • Stay current with trends and developments in the design and food industries
  • Ability to work well under tight deadlines at times and respond to day-to-day needs in a timely fashion
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Openness to direction, mentoring and training to improve skills
  • Possess excellent, professional and clear communication skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate creativity and flexibility
