POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Graphic Designer - Digital and Print Production who has a passion for marketing and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this position, you will be expected to wear multiple hats, taking on projects as they arise. Your ability to "go with the flow" will be critical to your success.

You will assist the marketing department in the design, layout, and production of professional digital and print materials and other marketing packages. We're looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into creative layouts, graphics, and other designs. This role also necessitates website management, including layout, coding and testing, and email generation. You should have an intermediate to advanced understanding of Adobe InDesign, HTML and CSS and be able to hit the ground running with very little training.

Other responsibilities will include organizing our image library and creative assets, proofreading and editing copy, communicating with outside vendors, completing administrative tasks, and other functional departmental needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Graphic Design

Conceptualize and design visually compelling digital and print assets supporting marketing channels including website, email, brochures, direct mail, flyers, invitations, lease offer booklets, ads, signage, social and other various collateral

Prepare and send print-ready files to local printers and clearly communicate expected deadlines

Design digital materials such as web pages and emails and translate to html/CSS

Develop graphics and infographics for marketing materials

Enhance/edit photos in Photoshop and work with logos in Illustrator

Assist in the creation of proposals and presentations including design layout, inclusion of graphics, resumes, project schedules, etc.

Willingness to adhere and keep current company brand identity and standards

Website Management

Update and maintain company website content and copy

Manage website development to include wireframes, front end coding, QC, etc.

Examine website/Google Analytics reporting, implement key learnings, and maximize SEO

Create and test landing pages for Leasing projects

Administrative Support

Assist in production of marketing packages to include printing, binding, mailing, distribution, etc.

Proofread and edit all packages; some copywriting skills needed

Manage and archive image library and creative assets

Help track business development and leasing initiatives to include Google and LinkedIn ads, emails, direct mail postcards, landing pages, etc.

Update company resumes as needed

Assist in the coordination of photographers for company headshots and building photography

Help with press releases, award submissions, event sponsorships, etc.

Organize and maintain the marketing file structure

Miscellaneous projects, as assigned

Social Media/Event Planning

Assist Business Development Coordinator in planning, coordination, and implementation of project events (ground breaks, grand openings, conferences, etc.)

Maintain and update social media platforms as needed

Assist in researching and ordering promotional items

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

BS/BA degree (Marketing, Graphic Design, Web Design, Business Communications preferred)

2 years on-the-job marketing experience

Intermediate - advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat), with emphasis on InDesign

HTML and CSS skills required and Kentico experience desirable

Strong visual sense and creative flair with the ability to layout visual elements on a page in a balanced and compelling manner to effectively communicate ideas

High level of organization and attention to detail

Ability to meet tight deadlines and high expectations

Microsoft Office skills required (intermediate)

Strong ability to copywrite, edit, and proofread preferred

Strong work ethic, dependability, superior interpersonal skills, creativity

Ability to problem solve and multitask

Excellent project management and communication skills
