Looking for a mid-level permanent copywriter on-site in Harlem, developing 360 copy for an iconic, NY based grocery chain. Preferably looking to hire someone with food writing expertise, but just an importantly, someone who breathes, dreams and loves talking about food.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about distilling complex business problems into ultra creative solutions. If collaborating with smart, talented people to get to the heart of what makes a brand unique and compelling, communicating that message to consumers (through websites, print, content, emails, events, social, etc) and engaging them in meaningful conversation through unique experiences, we've got to meet you.
Work closely with design/marketing team and internal merchants to develop creative, effective and compelling communications
Must be able to distill strategic tactics into effective campaign-level messaging. This includes the ability to work collaboratively with multiple art director / designer partners to conceptualize creative IDEAS. And write for fully-integrated individual campaign tactics (e.g., collateral, direct mail, emails, web pages, social etc.)
Ability to develop, integrate and maintain a consistent brand voice and personality throughout all communications.
Ensures proper usage of brand, voice, and style, as well as organization, grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation
Keen attention to detail, high regard for quality, and strong communication skills are essential
Is excited about being part of a team that challenges the status quo and enjoys coming up with new or elevated creative solutions, campaign enhancements and communication tacticts
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Performs copy editing and proofreading for all marketing initiatives
Self motivated, enthusiastic and organized
5+ years of copywriting experience in marketing, advertising or related field
