Rate: Freelance - up to $35/hr, depending on experience

Full Time - up to $60,000, depending on experience

Job Description:

Our client in the beauty space is looking to hire a Mid-Level Packaging Designer with 3 to 5 years experience to join their team on a freelance to full-time basis!

The Mid-Level Packaging Designer will be working on branding, products, packaging, displays, production, presentations, and additional media using Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.

The Mid-Level Packaging Designer will be responsible for:

- Designing and producing products, packaging, prototypes, displays, and die lines.

- Creating layouts and typography

- Prototyping 2D and 3D package and product mock-ups

- Researching materials for products, packaging, and prototypes

- Trouble shooting designs before they go to production

- Converting and maintain files for production

- Adapting and maintaining brand standards

- Writing, copy edits, and proofing designs

Plus: copywriting, photography, editing, and illustration (digital + analog) skills

The ideal Mid-Level Packaging Designer will have experience in the beauty and eCommerce space will put you at the top of the list.
