As a product UI/UX designer you will play a key role in defining the UX, visual design elements, and user research practices for our products. You will work collaboratively with the Product team in an agile, fast paced environment. You will help drive user experience insights and ultimately translate those into wireframes, designs, prototypes, and actual products. You will bring your experience with design patterns to bear as you apply best practices and advocate for changes or improvements in design.

What you will do
Lead and own the design work across the entire product lifecycle and multiple launches with full design responsibility.
Research user behaviors, validate concepts with end users and turn insights into value-adding features and actionable deliverables for the team.
Coordinate, execute, and document user research. Run user interviews, ethnographic studies, and other research methodology to understand personas and user cases around upcoming roadmapped features.
Analyze findings to provide strategic recommendations based on user mental models, needs, preferences, expectations, and behaviors.
Facilitate evidence-based product and design decisions
Visualize and prototype design concepts at varying levels of fidelity, from paper to interactive digital prototypes for the web.
Collaborate with product managers, operations, and engineers to identify generative research and product validation opportunities.
Create extremely detailed user flows, product maps, wireframes, personas, archetypes, and journey maps based on requirements from Product Management, and communicate UX clearly to relevant teams.
Evaluate, test, and iterate on current core experiences.
Develop and refine user-centered design processes and best practices.
Manage your bandwidth and project pipeline to execute UX design in time with your team's software roadmap.
Who you are
Proven experience of designing and researching as a UI/UX/product designer, information architect, interaction designer, or similar.
Expertise with the following: Sketch, InVision, Balsamiq.
Experience with Qualtrics, User Zoom, UserTesting.com, and/or other research or prototyping tools is desirable.
Excellent communication skills together with analytical thinking and problem-solving capability. You love to break down and simplify complex problems and present to mixed audiences at different levels of the organization.
Strong conceptual thinking with an ability to understand the user's needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables.
A proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to contribute to a multi-disciplinary team.
You have broad experience of qualitative research methods.
Familiar with quantitative research methods, comfortable with metrics and A/B tests, and are able to synthesise quantitative data with qualitative user research.
Comfortable planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing and communicating research.
You are a great storyteller and communicator, able to speak fluently to business people, designers, engineers and other stakeholders (in English).
Personable, collaborative, take initiative, great at multitasking, lead projects, and work well independently.
Experience in healthcare is nice to have, but not required.
