Position: UI Designer w/ UX Skills (MOBILE) - Freelance to Full Time
Estimated Duration: Freelance to Fulltime

Our client is a major name in the media world. They are looking for a skilled UI / UX DESIGNER to support their Innovations team, in a freelance to possible full time opportunity (for the right person).
The UI / UX DESIGNER will be creating visual designs, collaborating with and working alongside business stakeholders, product owners, and front-end developers to enhance and maintain existing apps and rethink and create new ones, all rooted in editorial storytelling. Think AR, chatbots, voice and image recognition. The UI / UX DESIGNER will be responsible for working closely with design technologists to build lots of prototypes that represent both the visual identity and the interaction model.
You MUST have experience designing for mobile apps!
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience and:
- Has solid mobile projects to share in their portfolio
- Is naturally curious and passionate about exploring emerging technologies and trends in the tech space
- Must be a master of Adobe Creative Suite and have had enough exposure to understand UX and Development shop-speak (including Sketch, Java, HTML)
- Experience from and a passion for editorial and online media (there will be interaction with the editorial, marketing and technology groups)
This is an onsite, ongoing freelance role. There is potential for this role to transition into full time for the right candidate.
