We're looking for an Interface Designer to join Butterfly! We're looking for someone to own the user experience of our e-coaching service. Our product empowers teams at organizations to become better managers for their teams.
You will be working with multiple development teams, including customer success, research and innovation labs. We have a myriad of projects in the pipeline and are revamping many services across web and mobile. You'll be at the forefront of Butterfly. We will require a full range of skills from product design, interaction design, and visual design.
What you'll do:
Create wireframes and detailed designs using Sketch and sharing your work via design tools such as: Zeplin, Invision, or Marvel
Recommend and defend usability best practices
Converting design elements to assets for technical implementation
Participate in daily standups, solution design meetings, retrospectives, user interviews, and more
Translate group design discussions into visual solutions
Develop comprehensible style guides for further reuse
Challenge yourself and team on simplifying designs by providing elegant solutions to complex user-centered behavioral problems
What we're looking for:
2+ years of experience in designing, building and shipping high quality products
Experience with Adobe Photoshop ; Sketch by Bohemian B.V.; Balsmiq; Google Docs;
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical mockups, wireframes, prototypes, drawings, and models
Can provide full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, and asking questions as appropriate
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Can talk to others to convey information effectively
Understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
Can identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
Can develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work
Ability to observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources
