To keep pace with our explosive growth, we are currently expanding and looking for a Web Game Designer.

The Web Game Designer is responsible for creating game assets and overseeing the game design, implementing core systems and balanced gameplay experiences using Flash/Animate CC.

Essential Functions:

  • Work with the Director to understand project goals, priorities, vision and approach
  • Write and maintain design documentation for features and gameplay systems
  • Design game assets for game integration
  • Transform design specification into functional games
  • Communicate with other team members
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Utilize Flash/Animate CC to prototype, develop and implement designs
  • Drive feature and systems development with other internal team collaborators
  • Ensure that all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design
  • Provide design elements, comps, templates and finished solutions
  • Participate in playtests and translate collected feedback into action items
  • Identify and fix design bugs
  • Participate in efforts to improve quality of games and other electronic publications as required


  • Bachelor's degree in Design or related field or equivalent
  • 2+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Have a diverse creative portfolio that showcases an in depth understanding of modern design practices
  • Expert knowledge in industry standard design applications
  • Expert knowledge of Flash/Animate CC and HTML5 Game Development
  • Ability to create game art
  • Working knowledge of Unity, a plus, but not required
  • Manage time and work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
  • Desire to learn and contribute in a creative, collaborative environment
