A man of many hats both literally and figuratively, Frank Meyer is a director, producer, author and musician.

While serving as Sr. Interactive Content Producer at NBC’s Esquire Network and G4tv, Frank honed his skills as a director of TV commercials (Dyson, Sonic), promotional spots (Jurassic World, State Farm, Little Caesars) and campaigns (American Ninja Warrior, Knife Fight), while racking up multiple Telly, Webby and W3 awards along the way. He also became an ace digital content producer, creating the award winning web series Freestyle 101, as well as digital shoulder programming for TV shows like Friday Night Tykes, Best Bars In America, Attack of the Show and X-Play.

Additionally, Frank is a published author, writing rock ‘n’ roll biographies such as On the Road with the Ramones (Bobcat/Omnibus) and When The Wall Of Sound Met The New York Underground: The Ramones, Phil Spector And End Of The Century (Rhino/WB), and editing Van Halen: A Visual History 1978 - 1985 (Chronicle). His latest book -- From Dude to Dad: The Diaper Dude Guide to Pregnancy (Penguin/Pedigree Trade) -- is a fact-filled account of the author’s experience during the 9 months of pregnancy that resulted in his now-12 year old daughter.

Along the way, Frank also directed music videos for the likes of Little Hurricane, The Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs, and Thor the Rock Warrior, directed the surreal MTV Italy puppet TV series Videogame Theater, produced comedy short films for Channel101, Escapistmagazine and G4tv.com, blogged for Yahoo! and Variety, and composed music for Real Housewives of Atlanta, TOSH 2.0, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Fox Sports, Animal Planet, UFC, and a veritable cornucopia of terrible, terrible MTV shows. But don’t hold that against him…
Frank also has an impressive and award-winning music career. As frontman for notorious punk rock ‘n’ rollers The Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs, Frank toured the world many times over, released over 10 albums, appeared on over 100 more, and scooped up LA Weekly and New Times Awards. He also played in the bands Sweet Justice and Angus Khan, and has served as sideman to rock legends and cult heroes such as Wayne Kramer (MC5), Sylvain Sylvain (New York Dolls), Cheetah Chrome (Dead Boys), Cherie Currie (The Runaways), Bob Dorough (Schoolhouse Rock), and more. Along the way, he also produced albums by Prima Donna, Thor, The Ladykillers, and Eddie Spaghetti (Supersuckers).

Frank is currently directing the documentary Risen: The Story of Chron “Hell Razah” Smith, a feature film about a Wu Tang Clan affiliate rapper who suffered a near fatal brain aneurysm and his road to recovery.
