Design is like the color spectrum. To be a good designer one has to be adaptable to current trends, be able to understand the brand being designed and the audience who will see the brand. In addition, a good designer will apply her or his own style to the design. My personal taste is to say the most with the least. Simplicity through color, lines, composition and subject is what catches my eye. Just as songwriters compose for the artist or performer, I design for the product and/or brand. In the end, it has to look good.
I design promotions, presentations, posters, banners, emails and rendering mocks. I’m a typography nerd, love retro album art and a good redesign challenge.
