22 years experience in digital games development, modelling, sculpting, lighting and texturing environments and assets, hi-res and in-game.
I have also worked with multiple SCEE in-house game engines, tools and pipelines for a number of consoles.
I have a full knowledge of game engines UDK, CryEngine, and Unity.
I am an experienced Production Lead and have been a senior CG artist within teams and an Art Lead on several projects. I have also worked with outsourcing companies and managed outsourced assets. I have a broad skill set across many software applications and techniques.
I have trained and mentored staff in the use of software and production processes, and I am greatly interested in education. I have a vast library of books and training resources.
As important as hands-on skills, I feel that teamwork is paramount. I have always appreciated the importance of a good team dynamic. The feeling of accomplishment in the completion of a successful product as part of a team, or when tasked individually, is very rewarding.
In digital games, the creative process can shift and change dependent on many factors. Over the years I have developed the skills to deal with the challenges that can occur in what is an unusual and exciting arena.
