She was first discovered when she was cast in the IFC feature DRAMAMEX written and directed by Gerardo Naranjo and executive produced by Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna - the film premiered at Cannes, Toronto and AFI festivals in 2007. She then went on to co-star in the critically acclaimed Universal Focus feature SIN NOMBRE, written and directed by the winning director at Sundance in 2009, Cary Fukunaga (True Detective). Diana played the supporting role of "Martha Marlene" and from her performance in the film, was heralded as an actress on the rise and one to watch by NYLON, ELLE, ROLLING STONE, ESQUIRE and many more publications. She´s been part of other films like: AMAR, AQUI ENTRE NOS, CASI DIVAS, LABIOS ROJOS, THE AIR I BREATHE, WHAT MAISIE KNEW, GUADALUPE THE VIRGIN and BORRAR DE LA MEMORIA. She acted in two seasons of FOX´s tv show: KADABRA.
Three years ago, Diana started devoting more time to her career in the visual arts. She has shown and installed murals in Mexico City, Monterrey, Oaxaca, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Holbox, Los Angeles, Austin, Miami and NYC. She has also been part of several art group shows.
Her magical animal amalgam, the UNIWOLFCHEETAH, with it´s slogan BE WHAT YOU DREAM, has garnered a lot of attention and has been requested in numerous interior an exterior walls.
In 2013, Diana and her boyfriend, musician Gregory Rogove, opened an organic cereal shop called ANOTHER KIND OF SUNRISE on Abbot Kinney, Venice, CA, where she did a mural in collaboration with Incubus singer, Brandon Boyd.
In May 2014, she gave a TEDx talk entitled BE WHAT YOU DREAM at the Social Innovation festival, CATAPULTA. The experience at the festival was so rich, that she decided to partner up with it to help it´s development.
This December, Diana was present at Art Basel Miami doing some interventions. She has made some designs for different brands.
