About me

My writing career began at age 8, scripting and performing infomercials in my bedroom. American Girl dolls are a remarkably patient audience. As are cats.

My first paid job was at Disneyland where, for $7.25/hour, I ushered Autopia riders through the queue and tried to not choke on exhaust fumes. I lasted 3 months before quitting with what was probably a less-than-appropriate amount of notice. My lungs thanked me. Also, why aren't those cars electric?

A few years later, I moved to Berkeley where I got a degree in Women's Studies. But, since smashing the patriarchy doesn't pay the Netflix bills, I thought I'd try my hand at copywriting. And, well, the rest is history.

I've spent the last decade+ dreaming up weird campaigns, partnering with incredible art directors, helping amazing writers become amazing managers, and kindly but firmly upholding the brand with that guy in product (you know the guy - we all know him).

I love the process of building teams, growing little ideas into big ideas, and making space for creatives to do what they do best.

On any given day, you might find me roaming the lake in Oakland, attempting to propagate my cactus garden with only minimal skin trauma, or plotting an adventure to Palm Springs.

On production for StubHub in Toronto.
