I feel very lucky to be represented by Catbird Productions, a boutique children’s illustration and literary agency in NYC.

Here’s an article on Feb 26, 2014 that ran in Publishers Weekly about Catbird:

"The Night Gardener" is my debut picture book done in collaboration with my brother, Eric Fan. The story, which follows a boy, a mysterious gardener, and the awakening of a creative spirit, is published by Simon & Schuster. We worked with editor Christian Trimmer and Art Director Lizzy Bromley at Simon and Schuster. Our agent, Kirsten Hall at Catbird Productions, negotiated the deal for world rights.
My brother Eric and me did the cover art and interior illustrations for this stunning debut novel by Ali Benjamin. It's a New York Times bestseller and captured widespread critical acclaim, including selection as a 2015 National Book Award finalist!

Published by Little, Brown Books for Young Readers (September 22, 2015)

My brother Eric and me did the interior chapter illustrations (not the cover) for a wonderful book entitled "The Book That Proves Time Travel Happens" by the talented Henry Clark. It's publishing April 14, 2015 by Little, Brown & Co.
"Embrace possibility in this luminous novel about a girl in search of her past who discovers a secret rooftop world in Paris."

"Rooftoppers" available at both Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Written by Katherine Rundell, book design and layout by Lizzy Bromley, cover and interior illustrations by me. Published by Simon & Schuster 2014

My brother Eric and I have a design featured in an awesome book released by Threadless to celebrate their tenth anniversary! The design is entitled "The Night Gardener" and was one of our most successful collaborations on Threadless.

General Studies
The Ontario College of Art & Design has more depth and breadth in visual arts and design programs than any school of its kind in Canada and offers a unique environment that combines studio-based learning with critical inquiry.

I've had a very diverse and intensive education at OCAD which has included training in illustration, design, sculpture, art history, photography and film. This has given me a lot to draw on and I'm very thankful I've had the opportunity to learn in such a vibrant and world-class institution.
