Kristina Schlegel

Based in Austin, TX, Kristina has been a graphic designer and scientific illustrator for over 25 years. Her work has appeared in countless scientific journals such as Science, Nature, Systematic Biology, and Scientific American. She also has illustrated two books: “Biomechanics of Insect Flight” and “Analysis of Biological Development” - adding a prestigious book cover for Pro-Ed publishing in Fall 2010 "Assisting Survivors of Traumatic Brain Injury: The Role of Speech-Language Pathologists". Kristina is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and has worked in Panama at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in collaboration with The University of Texas and the Max Plank Institute.
