People Promotions - A Few of My Favorites
Editing and promotion of my uncle's wonderful book!
The new and improved Ali museum homepage! I helped create programs that are now a large part of their social media outreach. (Daughter's of Greatness, etc.)
I helped hone the wording of Ali's six core principles. Now that's a dream assignment!
It was quite the honor to launch the first homepage and infrastructure of content. New versions by talented web designers and writers soon followed.
I quickly jumped at the opportunity to edit and organize Ali's archives on the Journal site.
Best volunteer gig ever back in the 90s: writing/designing brochures and working as Jimmy Carter's "press agent" and project manager on his mission through the south.
FEMA flood tour with Al Gore - I managed press feeds and helped him with research and localizing his speeches. The best part was zooming around in helicopters getting videos of flood zones!

- Concepted and wrote television and YouTube/Web ads
- Scripted many Duluth Trading product description videos
- Helped brainstorm and rename hero products like the "Buck Naked" line
- Helped relaunch Wisconsin Cheeseman
Worked with the Milk Marketing Board on all sorts of great (and yummy) content

- To underscore our expertise, we created a "Master Cheesemaker" series with special product releases
- Built the Cheeseman Facebook page

Duluth Trading: Catalog, Homepages and Email
Men's cover: drew out the concept and wrote the copy
Helped concept and launch the first women's catalog/Website
Launched the first travel catalog! While this was a fun concept and the copy was so fun to write in "J. Peterman" style, sales did not take off. High prices, wrong audience, saturated market? It couldn't have been the creative. :-)

- Earning Hemingway's trust. The Grrow.org team and I rescued him from a severely abusive hoarder.
- Puppy mill rescue Bugsy and her pups take over the unfinished kitchen cupboards.
Moby taking Bart, the hospice horse, back to pasture. He shares my philosophy that no project is too big or intimidating!
