Barney Goldberg’s creative journey began in the darkroom of The Martin Agency, where, while studying at VCU. He built a book working on accounts like Mercedes, Wrangler, Seiko, and more, learning the ropes under Martin Agency legends. In Los Angeles, Barney worked at shops like BBDO and Secret Weapon. Then at Saatchi LA, TBWA\Chiat\Day, Deutsch LA, leaving his mark on auto brands like Hyundai, Toyota, Nissan, and Volkswagen. At Innocean, he led Hyundai, delivering unforgettable Super Bowl campaigns like “Smaht Pahk”, “Ryanville” and “Elevator.” Barney turned Hyundai's branded partnerships with Marvel, Disney, The Walking Dead, FIFA, and the NFL into cultural moments. His work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, The One Show, Effies, Clios, and Communication Arts. From there, Barney joined Chiat NY to lead creative on Nissan, where his blend of sharp strategy, wit, and polish continues to drive award-winning work.
