Chris Bottoms is a cinematographer / camera operator and a member of The International Cinematographers Guild. Over a career spanning documentary, commercials, small independant films and major studio features - from New York to Hollywood and back - he has developed a rare fluency across every format and scale the industry demands.
A working DP who has never stopped operating, Bottoms is at home across the full range of the craft: arm cars and remote heads, close-quarters handheld, the technical precision of a large studio production, the instinctive intimacy of a small documentary. That breadth isn't incidental - it reflects a genuine belief that the best camera work lives somewhere between technical mastery and human intuition, regardless of the size of the production.
His credits include The Smashing Machine, Crystal Lake, Deliver Me From Nowhere, and The Curse. He divides his time between Brooklyn and the Western Catskills, New York.
