I was invited to work on the interior design of a Restaurant in St Barth.
I choose everything from the floor parquet which we flew from Italy, as it had a particular treatment and "floating setting" in case of water flooding as the restaurant was on the port, to the french furniture to plates/glasses/lights/coffee machine/vases/plants and even the name of the restaurant which I simply called: CUISINE.

This experience led me to places I would probably never visit otherwise,
moments that challenged my resilience.
I will never forget the boundless lands of Mongolia, the Ulanbataar black market with its beautiful brocade silk fabrics and ceramics bottons, the smell of yak candles (terrible!), the beautiful Yungang Grottoes and its thousand Buddhas, the delicious Jiaozi tasted in Datong (finally!), reaching 5000 meters of altitude in Tibet discovering a hermit living there in the snow (shocking!), the elegance of Tibet's woman with their beautiful turquoise stones and fuchsia wool earrings... the charm of Dali, the futuristic Hong Kong and the slowness of its colonial boat to go from one side to the other, the pleasure to enter ICF! the beauty of Beijing trying to chase after its last hidden "pearls"....

Amongst all the fantastic memories I hold dear to one:
at the gate of Tibet's entrace in Goldmud, we were surronded by a crowd of local people watching us, a TV crew, as an odd presence. A woman approached me and gifted me of a beautiful Jade Bracelet ( the one that I noticed on all the chinese elegant women I've encountered) telling me I was FREE and to bring it with me everywhere I could.

I still have it and treasure it! and since I wear it everytime I have an important encounter or "gate" to overcome in my life.....

The TV show was about to fulfill THE DREAM of somebody amongst the audience.
Any Dream.
I was astonished to discover that Italians' main dreams could be classified amongst approx 10 Topic 's boxes.

I was in charge to read the letters the production received and to signal the most interesting ones.

....... My dreams could not, and will never .... fit only 10 boxes
