Inventor before everything, artist, sculptor and product designer born in Oporto, Portugal.

For Vale, the creative process is largely stimulated by hidden challenges such as the high level of technical difficulty required to achieve a design using a particular material; usually the bigger the challenge, the more inspired is this process.

It all started at the age of 24, when entering a contest for the erection of a public monument for the city of Lisbon, winning the first prize, was the grand entrance to the world of art and design.
