BlueSoho is seeking an experienced, innovative Senior Account Director to join and support our onsite team with Cabela's in Sidney, NE. This position collaborates with Creative Leadership (Creative/Associate Creative Director) to provide strategic, thoughtful leadership and continuously bring forward new ideas to advance the client's business. The Senior Account Director also leads the account and traffic teams to deliver outstanding client service through controlled engagement management. The Senior Account Director is a seasoned leader and collaborates closely with Blue SoHo sales and operational leadership to advance the client relationship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with Blue SoHo sales and operations senior leadership to continually advance the client relationship
  • Maintain a complete understanding of the client's business to provide strategic, thought leadership
  • Collaborating in partnership with Creative Leadership and Traffic teams, manages resource allocation and delivery of all work through the operation
  • Own and manage the communication process between the client and agency
  • Develop strong relationships with the client's marketing, creative and merchandising leadership teams
  • Guide the account and traffic teams to meet the client's schedule and budget expectations while partnering with creative teams to deliver the highest possible strategic creative solutions
  • Hire, mentor and oversee account and traffic personnel
  • Proactively identify strategic, creative and workflow opportunities and solutions
  • Articulate the value proposition of our capabilities and their impact to the client's marketing needs
  • Lead and participate in client strategy, planning and concept meetings as required in partnership with Creative Leadership teams
  • Develop effective Creative Briefs to guide the creative efforts of the team
  • Present in partnership with Creative Leadership, developed work through impactful, inspirational and highly energetic professional manner to clients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications, marketing (or equivalent)
  • 15+ years of experience in an in-house retail or agency environment
  • Solid understanding of the entire creative and production process
  • Ability to maintain effective ongoing discussions and relationships with clients
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse creative team members
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to analyze challenges and make good judgments given multiple considerations at many different levels with keen sense for prioritizing issues and solutions in real time
  • Proactive and disciplined time management approach
  • Understanding of business accounting; experience with standard software programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word
  • Ability to stay nimble, flexible and calm in a fast paced environment with many moving dynamics
