South Mountain Community College is hiring a WEBMASTER (Media Production and Design Analyst Sr) This position will oversee the college's website on the Drupal platform. https://www.southmountaincc.edu/
This includes: maintenance, building, updating and troubleshooting of individual webpages; ensuring functionality of webpages, accuracy of content, consistency of tone and style, and adherence to legal, district and college requirements. This position will be in charge strategizing and implementing the best digital methods and enhancements to ensure maximization of SEO, metadata usage, and the desktop and mobile user experience. This position will work closely with IT on security and stability of site, and be able to suggest improvements on usage. This position will help lead the college's efforts to migrate the current site from Wordpress to Drupal.
This is a short-term assignment with a projected end date of June 30, 2020 with renewal based upon the needs of MCCCD.

25% - Plans, organizes, writes and reviews website content; updates and/or maintains websites and other centrally available documentation and information
25% - Designs and formats documents, reports, presentations and/or web content 10% - Optimizes website pages to ensure optimal search engine rankings
10% - Creates tracking links to monitor online traffic; creates results reports; researches, retrieves, assembles and reviews data; performs preliminary analysis
10% - Leads user teams through the website design process
10% - Researches industry standards, trends, best practices and emerging technologies and makes recommendations for implementation
10% - Performs other duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in graphic design or related field and four years of professional journey level experience in developing, planning and implementing creative visual design projects and campaigns.
Associates Degree and six years of professional journey level experience in developing, planning and implementing creative visual design projects and campaigns.
High School Diploma/ GED and eight years of professional journey level experience in developing, planning and implementing creative visual design projects and campaigns.
